And I will capture a piece of your soul along with mine...Timothy, a sixteen-year-old glassworker and a zealous student of Science whose life is fed by feel-ings and everything else within, and Minea, an unfeeling and apathetic high school student whose existence is preserved only through reason and every other rational thing, live in two different countries, in the exact opposite places in the world. Their worlds start to change though, as they discover that these locations they occupy are actually symmetrical, that they overlap, and that really, they are one.Timothy lives in a poverty-stricken world, but this only strengthens his perseverance and reveals the invisible values of things. In his zeal to have sight of the beauty of living, he, together with his brother Joshua, discovers soul-swirls--gossamer strands of aliveness in anything. They start creating the soul-swirl seer, a sort of liquid-gas substance that would allow soul-swirls to be seen fully. But when Joshua dies, Timothy loses his zeal and no longer wants to continue creating the soul-swirl seer. He abandons his hope and dependence on the invisible values of things and on the beauty of living, and proceeds to becoming unfeeling and apathetic, existing solely by reason and rationality.Minea, on the other hand, has already perfected her total dependence on reason and rationality. But when she meets Timothy, the invisible values of things and the beauty of living once again flash before her, and she longs to feel and to tear down the walls of indifference she built around her.Together, separately one, Timothy and Minea finish creating the soul-swirl seer as they encounter different people and different things that would tell them, show them, and instill upon their hearts how love truly works, when truth becomes real, and what it really means to be alive.
